Flashback of First two weeks at Amal

“Memories are timeless treasures of the heart”

The first two weeks at Amal academy were full of surprises, new experiences, and mixed feelings about the session. I remember that how difficult it was for me to take the first session because of my sister's engagement. Everyone was busy preparing for the function but I decided to take the session because I did not want to miss the first day of my awesome journey and trust me it worth it. At the start, it was quite a task to acclimatized with it. There were so many people in the session, all were from different backgrounds, and speaking in front of them was a very difficult task because I only speak when I feel comfortable so that also played a role in me not speaking up anything in the first two sessions. But then I realized that if I want to make the most out of this fellowship, I’d have to speak and actively participate.

The start of this Amal journey was full of anticipation. I had no idea what to expect and what was going to happen. I remember doing the first online course on ‘Knowing Yourself’, it was such a different experience for me because I was not used to thinking about myself and uncover the layers but little did, I know that was all I was going to do for the first few weeks of the fellowship. I dig deep inside me and know the “Why’s” behind my goals. It was a .really amazing project.

I had two of my really good friends Seeme Tajammul and Tayyaba Bahadur with me in this fellowship. Seeme and Tayyaba are in the same batch. First, I felt sad but then I realized that I should be thankful that at least they are with me in this journey. They were literally the support system for me throughout this fellowship and whenever I was feeling low or feel like quitting they would jump right in and boost me with motivation. 💕
We used to discuss everything related to sessions, online courses, and PWs in detail, and also our Megaproject progress. It would have been so difficult for me if I didn’t have these gems with me on this journey. I just want to say Thank you to them.

The most important learning in those two weeks was: Amal’s principle of progress like khudi, AmalImportance of finding your purpose, and the ‘why’ behind that which help you keep motivated. Teamwork and the concept of MVTP. Those first two weeks have a very strong impact on me. I realized the importance of teamwork and know “1+1=11”. I am feeling sad while saying goodbye to this journey.😢❤

My register which stays with me during all thejourney
